Terrorism in Bradford

Looks like West Yorkshire's Spineless are doing their bit to distract press attention from the PR disaster in Forest Gate, according to their press release:

"Just before 9.00pm last evening (Tuesday 6 June 2006) officers from West Yorkshire Police arrested a 21 year old Bradford man at Manchester Airport.
He is currently detained under the Terrorism Act 2000, and has been returned, in custody, to West Yorkshire.
Subsequently police have begun searches at addresses in Hanover Square, Manningham and Otley Rd, Bradford."

At least they haven't shot anyone (yet).

That's interesting, there wer

That's interesting, there were a couple of cops in what looked like flak jackets hanging around our area (Great Horton) at around 19:30 yesterday. It may be totally unrelated, or it may have been a planned arrest.

well

Interesting that mobile surveillance camera bolted to a lamppost on Manningham Lane I noticed a week or so back has a fairly decent view of Hannover Square.

One of the "reporters" in Hannover Square looked distinctly spooky - so much so I chickened out of photographing the occupant of YH53 UGD ...opps me bad.
