The Odeon - death by a thousand cuts

It looks like Maud and the Demolition men have decided to tackle the Odeon in small bite size chunks in the hope we won't notice as they slowly nibble it all away.
BTW saturday 14th 12 noon - Hug the Odeon, come along and select your souvenir from the pile of rubble.
Another couple of hundred images have been added to the heap these can be viewed either as thumbnails or as a slideshow. These links also appear on the left (as unsorted images and the big screen)

I love that we live in a place where our rights and out governments listen to us and take action on the requests of the people..
unlike places like china where they don't listen/hear and carry on regardless
ohhh hang on ... maybe we are living in the Peoples Republic of England
Demolition by stealth
Half of the canopy cladding has gone now. It looks rather rusty under there- maybe it was close to collapse.
The coincidence of work starting and the hugging being this Saturday is spooky...
