There's nothing I find more irritating than marketing faxes (especially since our system both prints the buggers and saves them to the server) so I was pretty annoyed to receive two identical faxes from this lot who seem to be too tight to check their data against the FPS list (on which the number the faxes were sent to has been listed for a very long time indeed - from about a month after the faxing preference system went live in fact).
Anyway I phone up and get someone who says "not my job someone else does it but it must have been a mistake but give me your number and I'll make sure it doesn't happen again" when I pointed out they should check the list before sending the faxes she got sufficiently defensive I decided that I'd better report them since they clearly weren't doing what they were supposed to do.
Oh and a free hint for them if they are too stingy to pay the fees either for full or occasional registration - numbers can be checked foc by trying to register them on the registration site - if they are already on the list it tells you.
