Why are our universities turning out selfish up-their-own-arse little shites who think just because some woman rejects them they have every right to be this ungallant.

Where's my bloody glove and my second? Pistols at dawn?

Personally I think if you can't find anything nice to say about your exes then you should top yourself for the good of society. We can do without selfish little shits who think they are gods gift.

if i had elevations above my station i'd write more like you! but seriously, slightly unfair of you to pass comment without possession of all the facts really i'd say.

exes are exactly that - exes. you may prefer to act gallantly with yours but i spit fire at this one in particular with good reason - hence my vociferous post. oh and thanks for the link, your blog's not bad :-)

to be honest

I'd have let it pass had there been a subsequent post saying look chaps I was a bit off colour when I made that earlier post and it was a little out of order - we all have little tantrums now and again but most of us regret them and repent our sins.

As to facts, well women are odd creatures and you need to be tolerant of their idiosyncracies which include cheating, shafting you and breaking your heart, as the Bishop of Southwark said when he was absolutely pissed "hic, I'm the Bis-hic-op of Southwark and it's what I do" - so it is with women. Then again they do your washing and kiss your boo-boos better so all in all they are a GOOD thing!

It did

but it saddens me looking at the comments on his post that so few people defend the honour of the lady.

Even if she doesn't have any honour it is still important to defend it just to preserve the niceties of society.

you're right, it's surprising how many agreed with my viewpoint, i was expecting more division. however perhaps heartache and the ire it fosters are more commonplace. my guess is that as i only depicted my story, people were only inclined to comment on my take on it.

the sad fact of most of today's society is that it's open to interpretation, rather than a way of life we should adhere to. ah well, could be worse; you could live in huddersfield!
