Fortunately this is the usual political posturing by the carpet munching dungaree wearing friends of Stalin and other papers confirm that the Queen is still on the throne ... eg "Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe stripped of knighthood by the Queen" actually that only proves the Canadians haven't followed suit so better check a UK source .... ah "Queen strips Robert Mugabe of knighthood in 'revulsion' at violence" from the Murdoch Times. A hopeful sign for Zimbabwe the last time the Queen removed an honorary knighthood the newly de-knighted leader was executed the following day, hopefully I'll wake up the that welcome news.

Your reporter says this was removed by the Foreign Office, nothing of the sort - it was removed by the Queen acting on the advice of the Foreign Office I know you Guardian commie* types don't like acknowledging that your heroes in the labour party aren't all powerful mini stalins but this really is too much.
